It’s just different here at Fit Park Yoga.
Our studio is heated, which helps create a detoxifying sweat to stimulates blood circulation and increases flexibility.
In this music-driven practice, you will flow along to the hottest music, ranging from hip hop to mellow beats.
The various class styles encourage clients to turn their focus inward and more deeply, to explore their individual practice.
You will leave Fit Park Yoga feeling strong and centered.


Our Teachers


Sarah Rever Kelly

Sarah began her yoga practice in 2010 to assist with chronic hip pain. Upon finding relief from physical pain, as well as a calmer mind, she was determined to help others discover the practice as well. Sarah is a Registered Yoga Teacher at the 200 hour level. Her classes include eclectic playlists, yoga theory, fun, and of course, movement. Her classes are open and welcoming of ALL levels.

Sarah is continuing her education at Beaumont School of Yoga Therapy, an accredited International Association of Yoga Therapists program.


Michael Christy

Mike began practicing Yoga in 1996 for a college P.E. credit. He quickly found it to be a remarkable tool for ending chronic pain that he had felt in his hips and low back since he was a teenager. He also found Yoga to be a highly effective tool for intellectual, emotional, and spiritual growth. After 18 years of teaching elementary in L.A., Mike moved to Detroit and completed a 200-RYT with Citizen Yoga and a 200-RYT with Yoga Medics. Mike provides both exciting and athletic alignment-based studio experiences, as well as therapeutic yoga targeting specific conditions.

Katy Busam

Katy Busam is passionate about health and wellness. She believes that training hard on the mat can lead to finding greater joy in the day to day. She received her RYT200 certification through Beaumont Hospital and holds a Master’s degree in Nutritional Wellness. Her goal is to share with clients what she has learned through her studies and strives to help them find the balance that will have them feeling their strongest on and off the mat.

A Perfect Blend

Mobility, strength, alignment and relaxation. The precise way in which we practice yoga here. Your body will be positioned in each yoga pose to obtain the maximum benefit from the pose and avoid injury. It keeps the body safe, it allows the energy to flow within the body, and enables you to enjoy your practice with fluidity and ease. You will undoubtedly gain strength by incorporating both long hold times and more reps, increase mobility and flexibility and leave in a relaxed state of mind even after your final savasana—the meditative relaxation pose at the end of a practice.
